Introducing a super limited edition pedal in honor of the inaugural Noise Maker Market 2026, the B1 fuzz, designed in collaboration with Ian at Gigahearts FX.
Check out the official YouTube demo.
The B1 houses a silicon Tonebender MKII front-end into a Rat style filter which works beautifully with this snarling vintage fuzz topology. Based on an old favourite by Catalinbread, the Katzenkönig with a couple of interesting twists of our own.
Three distinct clipping modes providing the bite of the stock silicon diodes, smooth and rounded clipping from the NOS germanium diodes to the amp-smashing, high-headroom LED clipping mode (which you are advised to use with caution!).
An input level control helps level out a variety of pickups, achieve clean-up or provide maximum saturation of the gain stages, giving you plenty of space for play within the different clipping modes.
Standard operation is at 9V, however you can use your 18V supply for increased low end and headroom.
The B1 comes with vibrant UV printing over matt black and textured black 125B enclosures with Moog style knobs and the added convenience of an adjustable status LED, controlled by an internal trim pot.
Controls:
Input
Gain
Filter
Level
Clipping (silicon, LED, germanium)
Power: 9-18V DC center negative
Power draw: ~6mV
Transistors: 4 x 2N5088 silicon
Diodes: 2 x 1N4148 silicon, 2 x LED, 2 x D9J germanium
